Cheerleading Tryouts for 1st through 5th grade. $30.00 fee and includes a T-shirt.

7v7 2026 Season - Spring 2026

We are excited to offer 7 on 7 for 2nd through 8th grade!

All players must be registered and paid prior to participation.

Basketball Sniper School - Spring 2026

Lakewood Youth Basketball and From Scratch 2 Skills (FS2S) is conducting a Basketball Shooting Clinic called "Sniper School" at Lakewood High School.  Learn to become a Basketball Sniper during this 2 hr clinic with FS2S Coach Quinones and Coach Clark.  Coach Quinones and Coach Clark are former professional basketball players who will help transform your players shooting ability.  

March 15th at Lakewood High School

4th & 5th Graders  10a-12p
6th-8th Graders     1p-3p

LHS Basketball Prep Camp - Spring 2026

The LHS Basketball Prep Camp is for current 8th graders who will be enrolling at Lakewood HS and intend on trying out for the LHS Summer Basketball Team.  The camp will consist of 3 Practices and Weight Room sessions per week.  Specific Dates and Times are TBD.  Reserve your player's spot today!

Lakewood Youth Football 2026 - Fall 2026

Welcome to Lakewood Youth Football!

Co-ed Youth Football 2nd grade through 8th grade

The registration fees are due by the first practice of the season. 

If early registration fees are not paid in full by April 1, 2026, a $25.00 additional fee will be applied. If regular registration fees are not paid in full by July 1, 2026, a $25 additional fee will be applied.

2nd -5th Grade Lakewood Youth Basketball 2025-26 Season - Winter 2025

Teams practice twice a week at either South Lakewood Elementary, Slater Elementary, or Belmar School of Integrated Arts.  Practices are either Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs.

Games could be any day of the week except Sunday.  League Blackout dates are: November 24 - 30; and December 21 - January 2.  Game day typically varies from week to week. Home Games are played at either Lakewood High School or Creighton Middle School.  Away Games can be at Gold Crown, River Church, Tony Grampsas, Lilly Gulch Rec Center, South Suburban and The Courts in Northglenn and many other gyms in the Denver Metro area.  (Including Metro State College and Regis).  

6th - 8th Grade Boys Competitive Basketball Teams - Winter 2025

LYB is the official Lakewood HS Basketball Feeder Program developing future Tigers to compete at the high school level.

Our 6th-8th grade teams compete in the JPS Winter League & Gold Crown League against other competitive feeder teams.  LYB Competitive Teams practice 3-4 days a week and play over 24 games between Nov - Feb.

TRYOUTS ARE MANDATORY / There is No Fee to Tryout

TRYOUT INFORMATION:

6th & 7th Grade  Sept 14th 9a-10a at LHS Main Gym
8th Grade Sept 14th 11a-12p at LHS Main Gym

Players selected to a Competitive LYB Team will pay a $315 Registration Fee which includes:  JPS Winter League Fees, Gold Crown League Fees and a Lakewood Tigers Uniform.
